This is a one-off sale item from existing stock. It is a 25cm empire and is suitable for a table lamp only.
Empire (also known as a French Drum) lampshade, using a navy blue and beige floral bird design fabric. The traditional floral style suits the slightly tapered shape perfectly. This shade has the same standard fitting as all our drum lampshades, it does not require a shade carrier.
All of our lampshades are handmade, by us, in our Norfolk home studio, using high-quality materials, resulting in a high-standard product.
The interior color of this shade is white.

When we create a new design, we make it, photograph it and then list it on our website and Etsy Shop. Quite often other sizes will be ordered and the original lampshade will be left patiently waiting on our shelves for its new home! In an effort to optimise our space, those lampshades that have waited the longest will appear in the 'Stock Sale' collection, with a little discount. They will be in perfect condition, unless stated otherwise in the description.
We take the greatest care in creating our lampshades, using a traditional rolled-edge technique to give a neat finish and a product that will last.
We do our best to give a true representation of the colour, but the variation of screens means that photos cannot always be 100% accurate. Fabric samples are available, to help you feel more confident in your purchase.

This lampshade has a standard utility ring fitting that will fit most UK or European lamps/pendants, by using or removing the included plastic adapter as necessary.
The components used are engineered for lampshade making and comply with BS EN 60598-1-2008, the British Standard for Luminaires. They have also passed the glow wire test carried out by the Lighting Association. Any fabric that we use, inherently adopts these fire resistant properties. In addition to this, any trims are sprayed with a water-based fire proofing spray. Please contact us if you would like further details.
The PVC backing is anti-static treated to minimise attraction of dust, UV stabilised - anti yellowing and high impact strength, with exceptional tear resistance.
We recommend the use of LED light bulbs.

All our prices include postage within the UK, via Royal Mail Signed For Second Class. As stated on the Royal Mail website - they aim to deliver this service within 2-3 working days, including Saturdays (but not including bank holidays). In our experience, most deliveries achieve this, however, it can occasionally take up to 5 working days.
A faster 24 hour delivery service is available at an additional cost. This can be added at checkout.
